Nestled amidst majestic hills and lush greenery, this town is culturally blessed by a prominent Tibetan influence owing to the major settlement of Tibetans here. Mcleodganj has one of the most mesmerising landscapes in the entire state of Himachal Pradesh and attracts a lot of tourists throughout the year.
About Triund Trek :
Triund is a charming hamlet perched at an altitude of about 2,828 m, in the Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at the foothills of the Dhauladhar range and is considered as the heart of McLeodganj and Dharamshala, from where the trek begins.
Triund Trek is considered as one of the most popular and easiest treks in Himachal Pradesh. Every year a lot of trekkers and tourists hike this adventurous trail.
Triund is a small hill station with large land of green grass, deodar, oak, pine, and Rhodeodaran forest.

Triund is a small hill station in the Kangra district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. Triund is a part of Dharamkot. Triund is at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges and is at a height of 2,828 metres. The hike over the Triund is not too difficult and takes roughly a day.
Itinerary
DAY 00: Departure from Delhi to McLeod Ganj
- Delhi Reporting time: – 4:00PM & Departure time: – 6:00PM.
- Chandigarh Pickup timing 12:00AM.
Note: Transportation will be by Force Traveller, Cab, Volvo Bus.
DAY 01: Arrival In McLeod Ganj Local Sightseeing
- On arrival Pick up from Bus stand and transfer to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel.
- After some rest local Sightseeing at Bhagsunath temple, Waterfall, Dalailama’s/ Tibetan Monestry, Naddi Point and Mcleodganj, Dal Lake, cricket stadium etc.
- Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 02: Trek To Triund – Overnight Stay At Triund Camps
- After breakfast check out from the hotel and drop to trekking point.
- Start tracking toward Truind.
- Enjoy the adventurous trekking and beautiful view.
- At Triund has an exotic view of glaciers from Triund.
- After spending some time while admiring natural beauty at Triund. check in to the Camp. Dinner and overnight stay
DAY 03: Trek Down To McLeod Ganj – Departure To Delhi
- After Breakfast check out from camp and return back to McLeod Ganj.
- Day free at your leisure.
- Start the journey towards Delhi.
DAY 04: Arrival at Delhi
- Reach Delhi by 08: 00-09:00 AM.
- Now it’s time to say bye bye to all with lots of memories (Sad Moment)
